Artisanal Kalamansi Liqueur, French Limoncello Style

Lemon Story Kalamansi Liqueur is an artisanal liqueur made in the style of a French Limoncello from citrus fruits freshly picked from our estate. The Kalamansi offers a unique aromatic profile combining the freshness of lime with the sweetness of mandarin.


What is Kalamansi?

Kalamansi, also known as Calamondin, is a small citrus fruit native to Southeast Asia. It is appreciated for its remarkable balance between acidity and sweetness, as well as for its intense aromas reminiscent of lime, mandarin, and orange.


Tasting Notes

While kalamansi pulp has a distinct acidity, its peel is relatively milder with a taste reminiscent of pomelo and kumquat. Kalamansi liqueur therefore offers softer, orangey notes of mandarin, clementine, kumquat, and grapefruit.


How to drink Kalamansi Liqueur?

Kalamansi liqueur can be enjoyed neat, very chilled, on ice, or in a cocktail. It pairs perfectly with sparkling water, tonic, or Prosecco. In cooking, it adds a touch of originality to sorbets, fruit salads, pastries, and citrus desserts.

Lemon Story Artisanal Production

At Lemon Story, our liqueurs are made from freshly harvested peels, immediately macerated to extract the essential oils they contain. These essential oils are the noblest and most aromatically rich part of the citrus fruit. They give the liqueur all its intensity, freshness, and complexity.

Kalamansi, like yuzu, is one of the emblematic citrus fruits of our plantation and is also found in our artisanal creations such as Kalamansi jam or Kalamansi spice jam.

Our workshop

All our liquors are made in Provence, in our workshop in the heart of our rare citruses cultivation. We work with fresh and seasonal fruits, using traditional methods.

Each fruit is peeled, zested, seeded and cut by hand in small quantities.
